Terms of Service

Last updated: June 4, 2026

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Revue service, including our website (revue.sh) and the Revue code review skill for Claude Code ("Service"). By accessing or using Revue, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

The Service is currently operated by Daniel Sánchez Cisneros, a UK sole trader trading as Revue. References to "we," "us," "our," or "Revue" mean that operator. References to "you" or "your" mean the individual or organization accessing the Service.

If Revue is transferred to a limited company after future company registration, we will update these Terms with the registered company name and company number. Until that update is published, these Terms are between you and the sole-trader operator named above.

1. Service Description

Revue is an AI-powered, multi-agent code review tool that integrates with your source control platform (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) or runs locally inside your AI coding agent (e.g. Claude Code). The Service analyzes code changes and provides automated code review findings using specialized AI agents.

1.1 Free Tier and Pro Tier

Tier features and limits are described on our pricing page.

2. User Accounts and Eligibility

2.1 Account Creation

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and accept these Terms, and by doing so you act as the contracting party. You agree to provide accurate, complete information during signup. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

2.2 Eligible Users

You may not use Revue if:

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

4. Licence and Usage Rights

4.1 Grant of Licence

Revue grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your internal business purposes. This licence is personal to you and may not be shared or resold.

4.2 Intellectual Property Ownership

4.3 Local Execution

When you run Revue locally, code review runs entirely within your own environment or your AI coding agent (e.g. Claude Code). Revue does not receive, store, or process your source code through our servers in this mode.

5. Payment and Billing

5.1 Pro Tier Subscription

Pro Tier subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan. Billing is processed via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on the recurring billing date.

5.2 Pricing and Changes

We reserve the right to change pricing for new subscriptions. Existing subscriptions continue at the current rate until renewal. We will notify you of material price increases at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel before the increase applies.

5.3 Refund Policy

All subscription charges are final and non-refundable once billed. If you cancel after a monthly subscription renews, you will not receive a refund for that month; you may continue using the Pro Tier until the end of your current billing period, and the recurring charge will stop from the next billing cycle. The same rule applies to annual subscriptions: cancellation stops the next annual renewal but does not refund the current annual term.

We may review exceptional refund requests case by case and may issue a refund at our discretion. Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

5.4 Free Tier to Pro Tier

You may upgrade from Free Tier to Pro Tier at any time. Your upgrade takes effect immediately.

6. Payment Processor

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Stripe acts as a payment processor and does not have access to your Revue account or code. Payment data is subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy.

7. Warranties and Disclaimers

7.1 "AS-IS" Service

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. REVUE MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT:

7.2 No Professional Advice

Revue is not a substitute for professional security auditing, code review, or legal advice. You remain responsible for validating all code review findings before deploying changes.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your Revue account at any time by contacting legal@revue.sh or via your account settings. Upon termination, your Free Tier reviews are deleted; Pro Tier subscriptions are cancelled at the end of the current billing period.

9.2 Termination by Revue

Revue may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you:

10. Changes to These Terms

Revue may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of England & Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim or proceeding arising under or relating to these Terms, save that we may bring proceedings to protect our intellectual property in any jurisdiction.
